Rector:
Pastor Sonia is our Priest-In-Charge. She lives in Montclair NJ with John (who is also a priest) and three teenage step-children. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Pastoral Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.
Deacon:
Deacon Lind serves Christ Church on the first and third Sundays of the month. She has a special heart for our All God’s Children Ministry and practices of prayer. Deacons are called to bring the needs of the world to the church, proclaim the Gospel, and serve the church in worship. Lind has one grown child and lives near us in Budd Lake.
Director:
Ray is the Director and co-founder of our All God’s Children Worship service, geared towards young children and children with special needs. He serves from his personal experience of caring for his two autistic children. Ray also serves as our treasurer. He lives in Byram.
Music Director:
Vicki is our Music Director. She has played instruments or sang in the choir for over 30 years. She plays the flute for many of our services and leads our band for our “Celebration Sunday” once a month. She has three grown children, and lives in Washington.
Pastoral Care:
Joan leads our Pastoral Care Ministry, including coordinating spiritual and practical care for those in our community who are sick or in need. She is also a leader in our healing prayer ministry, and helps coordinate our prayer outreach to those with chronic illness. She and her husband Larry live in Lake Hapatcong.
Building and Grounds:
George leads our Building and Grounds Ministry. He is married to Paula (who does more for the church than we can count), has two grown children, and lives in Budd Lake. He is committed to making us good stewards the blessings God has given us.
